The Acquiry

Before working with me, The Acquiry, a Sydney-based real estate buyer’s agency, struggled with consistent social media posting and content direction. I provided full-service social media management, including content creation, strategy, and scheduling, to build brand awareness and reach more clients.

The team felt relieved having social media fully managed, and I customised my approach with a mix of in-office collaboration and on-location shoots. This client highlighted how comfortable I made them feel on camera and my ability to craft strategies that align with their business goals.

Keeping up with the consistency needed to produce good social media content is challenging for any business owner. But working with Lydia has been amazing and has given my business a social media presence that would have been impossible without her. Her advice, insights and experience with navigating all of the main platforms is incredible, and she is easy to work with and will bring even the most camera-shy business owner out of their shell. I would highly recommend engaging Lydia for anything content and social media-related - she is exceptional.

Instagram

In June 2024, I took full control of The Acquiry’s Instagram, which at the time had just over 700 followers and primarily consisted of static images.

I developed a new, video-first strategy designed to make their content more engaging, informative, and aligned with their expertise.

The goal? To establish Mark as a go-to industry expert in Sydney’s competitive property market. I built the content around three key pillars:
📌 Buying advice – actionable tips for property buyers
📌 Real estate insights – breaking down market trends and key industry changes
📌 Sydney suburb guides – in-depth looks at different areas for potential buyers

By producing two high-quality videos per week, this new approach has significantly boosted The Acquiry’s presence, growing their Instagram following to over 1.2k and driving consistent engagement with 20k+ page views per month.

Beyond the numbers, the content’s impact was clear, with frequent compliments in the industry on the professionalism of the content, and Mark was invited to participate in DiJones' Hypotheticals Roundtable series, a testament to his growing recognition as a leading voice in the industry.

TikTok

Before working with me, The Acquiry didn’t have a presence on TikTok. Recognising that the platform was a perfect fit for our engaging, ‘edu-tainment’ style content, I suggested we establish a presence there.

I began by sharing shorter, snappier versions of our Instagram content, as well as testing new topics and formats to see what resonated with TikTok’s audience. The best-performing videos were then refined and repurposed for Instagram - our primary platform for lead generation (though we’ve also secured leads directly from TikTok!).

One key insight we discovered was that videos about Sydney suburbs performed exceptionally well on TikTok. This led to the creation of our ‘Suburb Guides’ series, which has since become our top-performing content across both platforms.

Since launching, The Acquiry’s TikTok has grown to over 500 followers, amassed 10.4k likes, and consistently achieves 20k+ views per video - a testament to the power of platform-specific strategy and experimentation.
